Paul George, nephew of Chief Dan George, is a Coast Salish Indian of the Burrard Nation, North Vancouver.
Paul was clearing tables at the Deli-licious Restaurant in North Vancouver when I met him. I was always amazed at how this frail man was able to carry a tub full of heavy dishes and not break somewhere.
There is something about this man.
I think it's his muted sense of humour and enduring strength of character that I like so much.
